To avoid disrupting my daily routine or that of the dogs I host, check-ins and check-outs must be scheduled during the specific time frames. Prior to your dog's check-in, you will receive emails outlining your booking details and arrival time which should be at least 30 to 15 days before the check-in. I plan my personal and business week around your booking, so any last-minute changes in drop-off or pick-up time that impact my schedule will incur a fine of 20€. I am unable to accommodate changes if I have a personal appointment, private coaching session, or am coaching a training class.
My schedule is as follows: Monday to Friday, 8am-9am and 6pm-7pm; Saturday, 8am-9am, Sunday, 6pm-7pm, and all bank holidays are closed.
Rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and kennel cough. All dogs must also be treated against ticks, worms, and fleas. When checking in, please bring your dog's up-to-date vaccination book. Owners of chemically castrated dogs must provide a document issued by a veterinary professional stating the date of the last implant and its estimated coverage.
All first-time guests must participate in a mandatory assessment day, which is limited to the low season. Due to high demand, I suggest booking your dog's evaluation day several months in advance. Please note that no booking requests can be confirmed without a prior assessment day.
Currently, the demand for high-season stays is very high. I strongly encourage making a reservation up to 10 or 12 months in advance.
I accept uncastrated or unspayed dogs on the condition they pass the evaluation day. Should I realize that some uncastrated males have difficulties coping with a group of dogs, I may choose not to have them participate in group activities. The safety and harmony of the group are always privileged.
While this is a boarding program and does not include formal training, there are some skills that I can realistically teach while your dog is under my care. Let me know what you need, and I will share the feasibility and costs.
During the evaluation day, I will evaluate whether your dog suffers from
separation anxiety or isolation distress.
Separation anxiety is when a dog needs constant human presence, and the company of other animals is not enough.
Isolation distress is when a dog is anxious when left entirely alone but can cope with other animals' company.
If I notice a separation anxiety-related problem, I won't be able to
care for your companion. If this is your case, I recommend pursuing private, in-home training with a CSAT-certified trainer to reduce emotional stress on your companion.
Drop me an email if you need to be directed to trainers specialized in separation related problems.
Any cancellations or amendments, whether during the high or low season, must be notified at least 30 calendar days before the check-in date. After this deadline, half the total amount will be due. If a booking is cancelled less than 15 days prior to check-in, Maison Dog will charge the full amount. These conditions always apply, unless you experience the suddent death of your pet. Non-compliance with the Cancellation and No-Show policy will be pursued by Maison Dog in a court of law. Email reminders will be sent 30 and 15 days prior to check-in to remind you of upcoming deadlines. These emails will be archived, and a missed, unread, or lost reminder will not prevent the Maison Dog's cancellation policy from taking effect. Please note that Maison Dog operates like a hotel or airline company with fixed dates and cannot account for any inconvenience or liability arising from poor planning or careless bookings.
